A day on set with GAIA

I had the great pleasure to be cast in a new Apple TV+ series, called GAIA(working title), and will be released sometime in 2022.  I hadn’t been on a set since I filmed JESSICA JONES and things have changed a bit since then. Everyone had to be vaccinated and we had several COVID tests before my day on set. The only thing similar was I had to report to Queens. Everyone couldn’t have been nicer. The sad part about filming during COVID is that we no longer have meals together. In the past, on some sets, we were able to eat with other cast and crew members. I really enjoyed having the option to hang out and relax with other people on the production, but I had a lovely room all to myself so I am not complaining.

I loved working with Scott Z Burns. He is a wonderful director and creates a fun and focused set. I was honored to be asked to stay and work on another scene when my original scene was over. He was experimenting with an idea and it was fun to see him work with all his crew to figure something out. In the end, he was happy with the result and we all felt a collective sense of accomplishment.
